Volunteer
Kappa Sigma Fraternity is always looking for volunteer support from alumni, parents, and friends. There are many different ways you can provide assistance:
Why become involved as a volunteer alumnus with the Gamma-Chi Chapter?
Repeatedly, undergraduates emphasize that the engagement of their alumni is the key factor in their achievements academically, within their Chapter, and throughout life. To put it simply, the experience of being part of Kappa Sigma is greatly enhanced by the participation of alumni volunteers. Whether by taking on roles such as Alumnus Advisor, Alumni Association Officer or Member, Chapter Advisory Board, Educational Foundation Board, Housing Board, District Grand Master, or just attending a Chapter’s meetings occasionally, it demonstrates to the undergraduate members the significance of the Fraternity in your life. It also shows your support for their endeavors towards achieving excellence.
Become a volunteer, whether it be as a member of the Advisory Board, Alumni Association Board, or Housing Corporation. The Advisory Board meets monthly with the chapter and advises them in areas of chapter operations. The Alumni Chapter works in planning a few events per year and overseeing all communications. The Educational Foundation Board meets a few times per year and oversees educational programming and scholarships for the undergraduate chapter. Finally, the Housing Corporation meets quarterly and oversees all facility operations. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please send us a message.
Help with members careers, whether it be speaking at a Career Day, hiring an undergraduate as an intern, or employing an alumnus. Please send us a message if you can be of any assistance here.
