How to join:
The first step to joining Kappa Sigma is to contact one of our rush chairs. We also host several rush events throughout the year, and invite interested men to come see what Gamma-Chi is about. If you would like to speak to our rush team, click the link below.
Scholarship opportunities:
Our chapter offers numerous scholarship opportunities for members. Awards recognize qualities such as leadership, academic success, and community service. Application details are distributed every semester.
Information for prospective members:
Kappa Sigma is the largest college social fraternity in the world, with over 200,000 members, including 17,000 undergraduates. The Gamma-Chi chapter at K-State has a proud history of excellence and tradition, and we continue to uphold the values that make Kappa Sigma exceptional.
Since our founding, our chapter has focused on developing young men for successful careers and meaningful lives. Our alumni have gone on to achieve remarkable success, from successful business owners to university leaders, military officers, and public servants. Many of them credit their growth and preparation to the experiences and lessons learned as part of our chapter.
Our new member period, or “pledge period,” emphasizes academics, leadership, interpersonal skills, and community involvement to help you build a strong foundation for life after college. As a member of Gamma-Chi, you will have the opportunity to grow in all areas: academics, philanthropy, community service, fitness, leadership, and fellowship.
Joining Gamma-Chi means becoming part of a brotherhood that supports each other, our campus, and our community, while preparing you for success in everything you do.
Information for prospective parents:
Parents are encouraged to be involved in the life of our chapter. Families can participate through the Parent’s Club as well as our annual Dad’s Weekend in the fall and Mom’s Weekend in the spring. We understand that parents care deeply about their son’s college experience. If questions arise, we invite you to reach out to our recruitment chairs or chapter leadership. We hope you find the same confidence and pride in Kappa Sigma that your son will.
